Target Group

Officers either acting in, or appointed to the personnel stream in the Public Service, persons with responsibility for personnel matters and officers wishing to enter the personnel stream who are qualified in accordance with the Civil Establishment Qualification Order 2001.

Aim

To further develop the personnel or human resource practioner’s skills with a view to improving operational effectiveness to achieve organizational goals.

Course of Objectives

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

·     Have a working knowledge of the HR procedures in the public service

·     Continually assess and monitor the contribution of the HR process to the organization and Public Service as a whole

·     Correctly prepare Public Service HRM forms
