Officers who are required to plan, co-ordinate and deliver training for their respective ministries or departments

 

Or

 

Public Officers whose services are contracted as external resource persons to deliver training on behalf of TAD.

Aim

 

This course is designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to effectively use their functional skills as trainers.

Course of Objectives

 

Course Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Assess learner characteristics and entry behaviours prior to a learning event

  • Perform needs assessments using a range of methods relevant to organisational, group and individual situations

  • Write the aim(s) and objective(s) for a learning event

  • Design a learning event taking into account learning and trainer styles, technology, resources and timing

  • Conduct participative learning activities using a step-by-step approach
